SWING Digital

Digital Wireless TV listener

The SWING Digital System will bring you a state-of-the-art experience to help you listen more clearly to your TV, radio etc. without any trailing leads across the floor.  With a high-quality audio transmission system it allows you to enjoy your TV etc. at your own volume without disturbing others. You can also move around whilst listening to TV, Radio or Hi-Fi as the signal is not interrupted by walls and will allow you to listen in adjacent rooms of your house.  The system has a range of 25 metres.

The SWING Digital Listener consists of two parts, a mains powered transmitter and a receiver powered by a rechargeable battery.  The transmitter picks up the sound from your TV and sends it to the receiver via 2.4GHz digital wireless technology.  The receivers, when paired with the transmitter on first use, will then not suffer any interference from other systems.  A fully charged battery will last up to 5 hours. An intelligent charging system enables the batteries to be recharged fully in less than 4 hours but will just top up if necessary.

The system includes the facility to connect to digital optical audio out as well as traditional analogue audio sources.

  • A Stereo Transmitter with both analogue and digital optical audio input (TOSlink) including receiver charging cradle and spare battery port.
  • A Mains power supply
  • Headset or Neck Loop receiver, with volume, tone and balance controls and a replaceable rechargeable battery
  • A lead kit to directly connect the transmitter to your TV Digital Optical, phono, SCART or 3.5mm headphone socket
  • Microphone which can be used instead of the lead kit

The SWING Digital Wireless Listener is easy to install and connects to a wide variety of today’s TV systems.

Extra receivers may be added to the system to enable use by more than one person per transmitter.  The batteries will need to be charged in the side pod of the transmitter.

Headset system

The headset receiver switches on and off automatically as you take it on or off. It has rotary volume, tone and balance controls and a maximum volume of 125dB(A)

Neckloop System

This receiver has an on/off switch and rotary volume control.

The Neckloop system can also be used with any of the other personal audio listening accessories on page 15 to personalise your hearing.  For example, you may wish to listen via an Ear Hook instead of the Neck Loop by simply plugging the Ear Hook into the socket on the receiver.
